How can we help?
Most questions are answered below. If you can't find what you need, our support team replies within the hour during event windows.
For ticket buyers
When will I receive my tickets?
Tickets land in your wallet the moment your payment clears — typically within 30 seconds. For resale listings, transfer completes within 2 minutes of the seller confirming.
What if my event is cancelled or I can’t attend?
Ticket purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you can’t make it — or the event is affected — contact us with your booking reference and we’ll forward the request to the organiser, who may at their discretion grant a refund, partial refund, or a free transfer to a forthcoming event.
Are resale prices regulated?
Yes. We cap resale at 10% above face value as required by NSW, VIC and QLD legislation. Listings that exceed the cap are blocked automatically.
What payment methods can I use?
Apple Pay, Google Pay, Visa, Mastercard and American Express. No surcharges.
For organisers
How do I list an event?
Sign in, then go to your dashboard and click "Create event". The form walks you through venue selection, ticket tiers, fees, and homepage display options.
When do I get paid?
Funds settle to your nominated Australian bank account every Monday.
Can I refund individual customers?
Yes. From the bookings table in admin, click any booking and select "Refund". Stripe processes the refund directly.
For tournaments
How do I enter a tournament?
Open the tournament, choose the division that suits you, and complete the entry — singles enter as individuals, doubles and team divisions enter as a pair or squad. You pay the entry fee at checkout with the usual Apple Pay, Google Pay, Visa or Mastercard options, and receive instant confirmation. Once entries close, the organiser generates the draw and seeds you in.
Can I get a refund on my entry?
Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. If your plans change — or the tournament is affected — contact us with your entry reference and we’ll pass the request to the organiser, who may at their discretion offer a refund or a transfer.
Can I run a tournament on TicketNova?
Yes — tournament hosting is enabled per organiser. Once you have access, create a tournament, define your divisions (each with its own format, entry fee and cap), and open enrolment. From there you manage entries, generate each division’s draw, enter results as matches are played, and issue champion and runner-up certificates.
What formats and draws are supported?
Single-elimination knockouts, round-robin, and groups-into-knockout. After entries close you generate the draw for each division; standings, brackets and results update live on the public tournament page as you record scores.
